Can you price my tattoo over the internet or phone? NO. We only give tattoo prices in our shops, there are too many variables, such as, size, detail, and placement of the tattoo you are wanting to be able to give you a price over the phone or internet.
Will it hurt?
Yes, but it’s tolerable.
How much does a tattoo cost?
Shop minimum is $60. We only give tattoo prices in our shops, there are too many variables such as, size, detail, and placement of the tattoo you are wanting to give an accurate price over the phone or internet.
Does the shop charge more during spring break and summer? Absolutely NOT!! Our artists know how important tourism is to our economy and enjoy seeing our vacationers come back to us every year. We appreciate all of our clientele, local and out of town folks. Although we cannot speak for other shops in the area, I think it is safe to say that any shop that is owned by a tattooer or former tattooer also shares these views.
Why do I have to come in to the shop to get a quote?
There are too many variables to give a quote over the phone or over the internet. The size and placement are important factors in the cost of a tattoo. You should always meet your artist and discuss in detail EXACTLY what you want, because it will be on YOU, FOREVER.
How much will it cost to get my tattoo “touched up?”
A touch up is free for up to 6 months if it’s a tattoo that we have done. If you would like a touch up you do have to come in and speak with an artist. You will have to provide the date you were initially tattooed for us to verify your paperwork, please have that information available when you come in. If you need a tattoo touched up that was done at another shop you will want to come in and speak with one of our artists so price and other details can be discussed.
Do I have to come into the shop to make an appointment?
Yes !! We do require an art deposit to make an appointment. Your $60 deposit (If your tattoo is priced at $300 or more you will need to give a deposit that is half of the price quoted) secures the appointment time and it goes towards the price of your tattoo. Deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE NO EXCEPTIONS!!!
Can I bring in my own design?
Yes, we are happy to work with any design you bring in. However, we suggest you don’t copy someone else’s art work, make it your own. You are responsible for any permissions to use copyrights, trademarks, etc…
What if I want a tattoo on my hands, neck, face or head?
We recommend that you think long and hard about this decision. Despite how open-minded, free spirited, accepting, loving and artistic you are, unfortunately others have yet to evolve and this could directly affect your job and/or career negatively. Each artist reserves the right to refuse a tattoo for any reason. We don’t offer free touch ups on feet, hands, fingers, or toes.
I want a white tattoo, do you do them?
Yes. When we tattoo we are putting the ink in the second layer of skin, when it is healed, you will be seeing the tattoo through the first (outer) layer of skin, as you know this layer of skin will tan when subjected to sunlight, thus making your white tattoo look beige or brown! Although every type of skin heals differently, it is unrealistic to think it is going to stay white. We do not guarantee the quality of white ink tattoos, but we do have a few artists who will do them if you are absolutely set on it. Please call ahead to see if that artist is available. Can I bring my kid(s)?
We do not allow anyone under the age of 18 in the shop. Any individual who is unruly, rude, loud, etc. will be asked to leave and no refunds will be made. Please keep in mind that others have made babysitting arrangements and would like to enjoy getting tattooed without fussy/screaming children running around the shop. We are parents too and love children, but this is a tattoo shop, we hope that you can respect our artist’s and clients’s wishes.
How long does it take for my tattoo to heal?
You will usually have surface healing within 7-10 days and normally the tattoo will be healed completely in 30 days.
Where on my body should I get a tattoo?
This is a decision that only YOU can make. Your artist can suggest placement of your tattoo because of its size or shape, but it is completely your decision.
