I started tattooing in 2000. I had a really good friend who tattooed and he offered me an apprenticeship in Alabama.
For 4 years I worked in Alabama before moving to Florida to pursue working at Tattoos Forever.
The reputation of Tattoos Forever is solid so when the opportunity came about for me to work here, I jumped on it.
The best part about being able to tattoo is the vast diversity of clientele. I’m in a 9×9 station with no windows all day and hardly ever see the day change to night…But the people…the people are all different and make it worth it.
The job is always the same but the people that I get to meet are all different. And since we live in a tourist town, I get to meet people from all over the country and world.
The clients that I have who drive or fly to come here is what I’m most proud of.
I’ve been influenced by the work of Joey Hamilton, Jime Litwalk and Jay Wheeler, but most of my inspiration comes from my co-workers. We have a friendly rivalry that keeps us all pushing forward and perfecting our craft.
